About the Ballroom
PA DanceSport Ballroom & Dance Center is the first and only of its kind in Central Pennsylvania. PDS was designed and built with one thing in mind—Ballroom & Latin Dancing. The Ballroom plans host a variety of dance events open to the public. These will include music provided by a live DJ or a regionally or nationally known band. The Ballroom will also be available to host private gatherings, public events, dance lessons and competitions.
Gift Certificates are available for anything offered by the Ballroom or for any dollar amount.

The mission of PDS is to promote dancing in many forms by providing a venue and events for both the serious and casual ballroom dance enthusiast.

The Ballroom features a 3,000 square foot floating maple dance floor.
Admission (Back to top of About the Ballroom)
General Dance regular admission is $10 per person on Wednesdays and $12 per person on Fridays and Saturdays. There is no additional charge for the Group Lesson offered before each General Dance. Full-time students are admitted to General Dances at 1/2 the regular admission price.
A "10-Admissions Card" is available for $100. The prepaid admissions may be used for any General Dance (including General Dance Group Lessons). Special Dances, Workshops, Series or Event admissions are not included.
An "Annual Membership" is available for $540. Renewal of an Annual Membership is $490 if paid on or before the expiration date of the current membership term. A Payment Plan is available—ask for details at the Ballroom's Front Desk. With a Membership, you are entitled to unlimited visits to all General Dances for one year (a $1,100+ value), participation in General Dance Group Lessons, a discounted Ballroom rental fee (certain guidelines and restrictions apply) and discounts on selected Special Dance and Event Admissions and merchandise. Discounts apply to the Member only.
Registrations, reservations, private lessons and advanced ticket sales for all Special Dances, Events, Workshops, Series, etc. can take place at PA DanceSport's Front Desk (anytime we're open), in person, by phone using a credit card or by mail (time permitting). Payment must accompany registration. It's easy; all we need is your name, phone number and payment. Cash is preferred; we also accept checks and debit/credit cards (a processing fee may apply). All registration, reservation, lesson and admission fees paid to PA DanceSport are non-refundable unless PA DanceSport cancels the event.

The Ballroom's hours for GENERAL DANCES are:
Every Wednesday & Friday—8:00pm to 11:00pm
Certain Saturdays—8:00pm to 11:00pm (see Calendar of Events)
Group lessons will begin promptly at 7:15pm - the doors will open at 7pm on these nights.
PRIVATE LESSONS are given by appointment on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

PDS trusts that the attire of patrons will be appropriate for an evening of dancing enjoyment. Wednesday's General Dance is the most casual—some folks wear jeans. On Fridays and Saturdays most patrons wear "dressy casual" clothing. Preferred attire for Special Dances and Events will be announced in promotional materials.

Hot and cold beverages and light snacks are available at the Concession counter. Patrons are not permitted to bring beverages or food to the Ballroom.

PDS is located at the corner of HersheyPark Drive and East Main Street, Hummelstown, PA — in the rear of the "Old" Park Village (Old Kmart) Plaza, behind Gold's Gym and Sheetz. PDS is easily accessed from Route 322 or Route 39.
NOTE—You will not see our street address number anywhere because we are located in a plaza/strip mall.
From Route 322—
•Take the HersheyPark Drive/Rt 39 Exit.
•Turn LEFT at the first traffic light onto Walton Avenue.
•Turn LEFT at the first traffic light onto East Main Street. The "old" Park Village (Kmart) Plaza is to your right—you will see Sheetz and Gold's Gym.
•Continue on East Main Street around a right curve.
•Turn RIGHT at the "Ballroom" sign into the Plaza.
•The Ballroom entrance is at the PA DanceSport sign and ramp, about 100 feet to your right.From Route 39—
•Turn RIGHT onto HersheyPark Drive.
•Turn RIGHT at the second traffic light onto Walton Avenue.
